Our annual LCMS West Coast Chaplains Conference is a wrap! We ended our event with a banquet. A couple of highlights from the photos: February 3 – 7, 2020
-Retired Air Force Chaplain Walter Quandt passed down a stole given to him on his commissioning day by the late Chaplain Fred Wiese (who served in WWII). Chaplain Quandt passed the stole down to one of our newest chaplains, Benjamin Riley.
-Chaplain Jonathan Shaw passed down some words of advice during his last seminar as he gets ready to retire after 39 years of military service. In attendance was his father, and a previous Director of MAF, Chaplain James (Jim) Shaw. He also provided some words of wisdom.
-MAF’s leadership presented some gifts to the seminar’s guest speaker from Grace Place Wellness, Rev. Dr. Darrell Zimmerman and his wife, Carol.
